GFTx has established cooperation with Port Gdansk
GFTx strengthens its European logistics presence through strategic cooperation with Port Gdansk.

Gdansk, Poland — GlobalFund Trading Xchange (GFTx) and Port Gdansk have discussed the establishment of cooperation to provide GFTx access to several port facilities as part of its expanding European logistics operations. The discussions, held in December 2022, focused on developing efficient intermodal trade routes and increasing the company’s warehousing and cargo handling capacity.
The Port of Gdańsk is a major seaport located on the southern coast of the Gdańsk Bay, along the Vistula estuary Martwa Wisła, Port Channel, and Kashubia Canal. It is one of the largest and most important commercial seaports on the Baltic Sea.
During the meeting, Port Gdansk offered several available warehouse facilities and high-capacity rail lines suitable for bulk and containerized cargo. The port proposed two primary areas of cooperation — the Gdansk Northport for coal storage and transportation, and another dedicated area optimized for grain handling.
The final decision regarding GFTx’s preferred location will be coordinated jointly with Rolchemia Company. Under this arrangement, Port Gdansk will transfer management control of the designated operational area to Rolchemia, enabling GFTx to carry out trade logistics activities within the port through this partnership structure.
This collaboration marks an important step forward for GFTx in establishing a strategic logistics presence in Northern Europe and supporting its growing network of trade partners across the EU and Asia.
