GFTx partners with Hunan Hengguang Technology and launches GFTx Chemicals
GlobalFund Trading Xchange (GFTx) has entered an international partnership with Hunan Hengguang Technology Co., Ltd. and now sells Hengguang's industrial chemicals — sodium chlorate, sulfamic acid, caustic soda and sulfuric acid — worldwide under its own brand, GFTx Chemicals.
GlobalFund Trading Xchange (GFTx) has entered an international partnership with Hunan Hengguang Technology Co., Ltd., a chemical and new-energy group in Hunan Province, China. Under the agreement, GFTx sells Hengguang's industrial chemicals worldwide under its own brand, GFTx Chemicals.
Four chemicals under the GFTx brand
- Sodium chlorate (NaClO₃): the feedstock for chlorine dioxide in pulp bleaching and water treatment, packed in 1,000 kg big bags.
- Sulfamic acid: a stable solid acid for descaling and industrial cleaning, water and pool disinfection, pulp and paper, textiles and metal treatment.
- Caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) from Hengguang's ion-exchange membrane chlor-alkali plant.
- Sulfuric acid from Hengguang's pyrite-to-sulfuric-acid plant with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes a year.
Sodium chlorate and caustic soda come from Hengguang's chlorine-chemical base in Huaihua (Hongjiang); sulfamic acid and sulfuric acid come from its sulfur-chemical base in Hengyang.
About Hunan Hengguang Technology
Founded in 2008, Hengguang has been listed on the ChiNext board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code 301118.SZ) since November 2021. The group is headquartered in Hongjiang District, Huaihua, and has production bases in Huaihua and Hengyang in Hunan and in Khammuan Province, Laos. It employs around 1,000 people, holds 48 patents, 37 of them for inventions, and runs two provincial technology centres; Hunan Province recognises it as a high-tech enterprise.
Hengguang's sulfur-chemical and chlorine-chemical platforms work as a circular economy: by-products and waste streams of one platform are reused by the other, which lowers raw-material consumption and emissions.
What buyers get
Buyers deal with GFTx as their supplier. The certificate of analysis and the safety data sheet are available on request, and dangerous goods are packed in UN-certified packaging and labelled for transport. As required in the EU, sodium chlorate and concentrated sulfuric acid are sold to professional users only.
